Continuing the evolution of the Cowardly Lion I am emerging from a darkness filled with death, destruction, and blood, after nearly a year in medical recovery was hard. I “landed” back home, or what passed for home and any kind of comfortable landing. Time in the Nam, and the subsequent surgeries lingered in my mind. I couldn’t simply “get over it,” as others suggested.
