These Last Ten Days are a tale of discovery, gaining knowledge, and many, many lost Marines. Junior describes the trail of pain, a bloody path through an unforgiving and miserably uncomfortable jungle of predators, human killers using weapons of unimaginable power, and destruction.
Soldiers and Marines do not go off into combat as boys and girls to return as men and women…they return in plastic bags, aluminum boxes, or to psychological institutions and clinics.

Hello. I have been reading “September” series which I have enjoyed. I, like many others, have a copy of #3 which is missing a chapter. 130 & 131 are exactly the same! How disappointing!! I ordered this thru Amazon. How can I get the correct #131? Thank you
James Strauss –
You can have the insert for free by writing to me and giving me your address: James Strauss 507 Broad Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Amazon corrected its copy but a lot
of damage was done. No charge for postage or anything else.

James, Thanks for staying the course. I would like two copies of the last ten days. One signed and then the first two books one copy each signed. That will give me three complete sets. Please let me know where to send the check or I can pay with a card. I will, of course, look for and purchase on the recovery book….. thank you. I was an 82C20 and joined in 1973. Did not go to the Jungle, thank God, as I used to feel embarrassed to say I am a Vietnam era vet. No longer do I feel that way. I would have never made it back from there at the age of seventeen. I will be next getting the three sets in audio books.
James Strauss –
Thanks Bob, so much. You can send a check to me at 507 Broad Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147 and I will send the books signed, with inscription if you
so request. Put a note in the envelope. Can’t thank you enough and I am happy that you never went to the jungle…where, if you had, you might still be.
Semper fi,
Jim

Awesome books. I read the first 2 books from cover to cover as soon as I got them. Hard to put them down. I am looking forward to getting the 3rd book as soon as I can. As a former marine myself I really enjoyed both the books. Thanks for an amazing story. Semper fi fellow marine.

I was on the edge wondering what was going to happen next, thought about what I had read often and waited for the next 10 days. Nothing but respect for your writings and as an Army combat vet of the same war nothing but respect for your leadership.

James, Since I all ready have 2 copies of the first 2 books I would like 2 copies of the third book. One will stay with me and the other complete set will be donated to the VA Hospital here in Green Bay. Can I just send a personal check to you at your Lake Geneva address? Thanks pal and thank you again for your service and your excellent writing. I will also donate one copy of The Cowardly Lion to the VA Hospital when that book is completed.
James Strauss –
Yes, you can send a check and you have my address, I know. Thanks a ton Chuck, not just for this but for everything.
